How To Significantly Boost Your Income Level

If you are seriously interested in boosting your income level and becoming more successful, you need to understand the Law Of Compensation.
Do you want to boost your income? I guess that’s a silly question…who doesn’t?
But did you know that working in a job is the worst way you can earn money?
I know that this may go against everything you have been brought up to believe…but, let me explain.
If you work (or run a business) just to earn money for money’s sake, you will probably never achieve the income level you desire.
What you need to do is focus on providing value.
To increase your income, or your business revenue, substantially, you must learn how the Law Of Compensation works and apply it.
The Law Of Compensation states…
You will always be rewarded in direct proportion to:
- The need for what you do
- Your ability to do it
- The difficulty in replacing you
The Law of Compensation is another restatement of the Law of Sowing and Reaping.
It says that you will always be compensated for your efforts and for your contribution, whatever it is, however much or however little.
So, how can you increase your value?
The Law of Compensation also says that you will never be compensated in the long term for more than you put in.
The income you earn today is your compensation for what you have done in the past.
If you want to increase your income, you must increase the value of your contribution. So, how do you do that?
Here are a few things you can do that will have an immediate impact on your value to your company or your customers:
Fill Your Mind With Success
Your mental attitude, your feelings of happiness and satisfaction, are also the result of the things that you have put into your own mind.
If you fill your own mind with thoughts, visions and ideas of success, happiness and optimism, you will be compensated by those positive experiences in your daily activities.
Do More Than You’re Paid For
Now, if your immediate reaction is “why on earth would I do more than I’m being paid for?”
Well, you will be forever stuck in a rut and feel resentful that others who you think are being paid more and get promoted above you.
Or, if you run a business, you will wonder why competitors are doing so much better than you, when they seem to offer a similar product or service.
Why? Because, you must understand that a corollary of the Law of Sowing and Reaping is sometimes called the, “Law of Overcompensation”.
The law says that great success comes from those who always make it a habit to put in more than they take out.
Because they are always over-delivering, they will be more highly regarded and, in time, more greatly rewarded.
Our rewards in life will always match our service, and if you provide “extra service” for others you are in effect planting a money seed and you will reap the rewards in time.
Companies like Zappos, Uber, Amazon have been built on the back of this customer-centric ethos.
So rather than thinking how can I get a pay rise or generate more revenue, be constantly looking for opportunities to improve the way your company does things, and how you can improve the customer experience beyond their expectations.
Provide the Causes… Enjoy The Effects
One of your main tasks in life is to align yourself and your activities with the Law of Cause and Effect (and its corollaries); accepting that it is an inexorable law that always works, at all times, in all places… and whether anyone is looking or not.
Your job is to institute the causes that are consistent with the effects that you want to enjoy in your life. When you do, you will realise and enjoy the rewards you desire.
You see, everything in life is cause and effect. You may think you are not responsible for something that has happened to you or that someone is just lucky because they got a promotion or created a successful business. But, that is only because you don’t recognise the actions that have taken place previously that have inevitably led to causing that effect.
Here are a couple of things you could do immediately to put these ideas into action:
First, remind yourself regularly that your rewards will always be in direct proportion to your service to others.
Ask yourself how you could improve the value of your services to your customers today or go the extra mile for the company you work for, to use the Law of Overcompensation, in everything you do.
Secondly, determine how much money you want to earn and write it down on a sheet of paper in large figures. Look at that figure several times a day. And then if you want to attain it do the following things every day:
Review your behaviour.
Answer this question: “How can I give more than is expected of me?” Implement whatever the answer is.
Leave every person you come in contact with the impression of increase. In other words, make them feel good about coming into contact with you.
The compensation you will receive – financial and otherwise – from developing these practices, will be phenomenal.
